Systems or Celebs

You see them all the time, pictures of an individual of renown on Facebook, Twitter, and even your favorite website. They are exciting. The whole world knows their inspirational words and the amazing things they can do or did during their lifetime.

Celebrities are fun. They can provide us goals to shoot for. However, we must remember everyone is unique. The skills one individual has are not necessarily transferrable. Nothing is truly new under the sun. Those inspirational words can be found from others, the same song with a different beat.

Do not seek to mimic a Star. It will only result in disappointment. You are not them. Instead, look to the light within yourself. Once you know your goals, seek out a system that provides the tools you need.

Good systems have answers, or at least assist you in finding them. Moreover, the answers and assistance a system provides is easily self-moldable. It can bend and flex to fit you, rather than forcing you to become like someone else.

We often think, “I want to be like them”. Why would you want to be a repeat? What you really want is to excel in some skill, to have a system or systems behind you allowing you to shine in your own way. Notice the Celebs, but chose systems and glow with your own light.
